If you cease to occupy a property, please let us know as soon as possible so that your bill is calculated correctly.

Unless you notify the Finance Directorate otherwise, we will assume that all documents to do with the rates can be sent to the same address to which you have told us to send the bill.

Please notify us immediately by email if your correspondence address changes: business.rates@derby.gcsx.gov.uk.

Tell us once

To improve our customer service to you we may share information with other Council Departments, including Derby Homes, if you tell us anything that affects another Council service or gives you an entitlement to another service. For example if you tell us you have changed address we may pass your change of address details to the Sundry Debtors team to update their records or Derby Advice so that they can remain in contact with you.
