Derby City Council contract with external suppliers across a wide range of goods and services to support the delivery of services. All our expenditure has to represent value for money for Council Tax payers, whilst effectively meeting the requirements of the service users. The way in which the council achieves this is by the application of procedures in the selection and management of its suppliers, to make sure that our requirements are met competitively and that quality is maintained throughout the life of the contract. Further details of our procurement processes can be found in Tendering for Work with Derby City Council. (
