Derby Direct Customer Service Advisers are your frontline contact with the Council. They are highly skilled in customer care. They have the expertise, knowledge and systems to provide you with a high level of service.
At Derby City Council we see customer service as a profession. We are investing in our employees and supporting them in an Institute of Customer Service award. This is a nationally recognised qualification and is just one of the ways we are developing our employees so that they can provide you with the highest quality customer service.
We have invested in new technology which allows customer service advisers access to the same information. This means you will not need to repeat information you have already provided to the Council. The technology allows us to look at the way we answer your calls as well as how many calls we receive. We will use this data to look at ways to become more efficient and to help improve the service we provide.
