Derby. A city for all ages

What is a ballot paper?

The staff at the polling station will give you a list of the people or parties you can vote for. This is called a ballot paper.

It will be stamped with an official mark. The person giving you the ballot paper will make a note of your elector number on a list. This list is used to make sure people do not vote more than once.

As there is only one election taking place in Derby this year you will be given one ballot paper.
