Adopted City of Derby Local Plan Review

We adopted the City of Derby Local Plan Review, CDLPR, on the 25 January 2006. It replaces the 1998 City of Derby Local Plan, or CDLP, as part of our Local Development Framework, LDF, and Development Plan. As such, it forms the basis for most decisions on land use planning affecting the city.

The CDLPR will be 'saved' as part of  the development plan for three years, but it will be progressively replaced by new development plan documents as set out in the Local Development Scheme, LDS, programme.

Electronic versions of the chapters in the Written Statement are available for download below, or you can view the fully interactive version of the Plan by following the link below. Printed copies of both the Written Statement and Proposals Map are now available for purchase by sending a cheque, made payable to Derby City Council, for £50.00 + £4.60 post and packing to Plans & Policies, Roman House, Friar Gate, Derby, DE1 1XB. Alternatively they can be bought at the Reception of Roman House.
