Derby and Derbyshire Joint Structure Plan

Document cover imageThe Derby and Derbyshire Joint Structure Plan sets out the strategic planning policies for the County of Derbyshire, including the City of Derby, but excluding the Peak District National Park.

The Plan is jointly prepared by Derbyshire County Council and Derby City Council. It was adopted in January 2001.

From 27 September 2007, following a Government Direction, only the following policies will be used, the others having expired: GSD6, T14, TC and S1, L and T2, ENV2, ENV4, ENV8, ENV13, H9 - H17 inclusive, E1, E9 - E17 inclusive.

A hard copy of the Joint Structure Plan Written Statement, which includes the policies, can be ordered for the price of £25, including postage and packing. For a copy, contact the Environmental Services Technical Library at Derbyshire County Council.
