I can't manage to move my bin. Can you help? |
Yes. We provide help for those who cannot move their bins because of disability, frailty or medical reasons, they need it. Please ring 01332 255256 or minicom 01332 256666 for details. |

Is there a limit on the amount of rubbish you will take? |
Yes, the lid on your bin must be fully closed for safety reasons. Black bin bags next to your bin will not normally be collected. If you have five or more residents liiving at the property we may be able to supply a larger bin |

Do you take garden rubbish? |
Yes in teh brown bin. If you are not on the recycling scheme then light garden waste can go in your black bin. If you are on the black sack refuse collection we cannot collect garden waste. If you wish to have a home composter please see the following link |

Can I put incontinence pads and nappies in my wheeled bin? |
Yes. This is the preferred method of disposal of these items. |

Will you collect clinical waste? |
Yes, on request from the Health Authority. Clinical waste must be put into the bags or containers supplied or as advised. It must not be put into wheeled bins or other refuse containers. Collection from domestic properties is free. |

Do you collect asbestos? |
No - please look in your local business directory under Asbestos Removal. A small number of sheets may be taken to Raynesway |

Do you provide a special collection service for large or bulky household items? |
Yes we will collect up to fifteen items but there is a fee. We charge £9.50 for single items, £14.50 for two to five items, and £21 for six to 15 items (including VAT). We collect fridges and freezers for free. |
