What is Derby Care Link?
Derby Care Link is an emergency monitoring service provided by Derby City Council. Our aim is to put you or your family directly in touch with the assistance you need in any emergency.
With over 20 years' experience of being there for our customers, Derby Care Link is a name you can trust.
We currently have over 3,500 Derby residents connected to us. All of our customers benefit from the peace of mind and reassurance our service provides.
We also provide support to many warden aided housing schemes in Derby.
What services can Derby Care Link Provide?
Some of the services we can provide are:
- personal alarm buttons
- smoke alarm sensors
- bogus caller button
- personal fall detectors
- home flood detectors
- regular courtesy calls and home visits.
We allow you the freedom and flexibility to choose the services you need. Our dedicated staff are always available to discuss any of our services and we can arrange a no obligation demonstration for you in your own home.
How does Derby Care Link work?
Within seconds of pressing an emergency button you will be in contact with an operator at our contact centre. They have all the necessary information available to get help to you quickly.
This may mean alerting a neighbour, a relative or the emergency services. We will send help to you even if you are not able to speak to us.
Safety devices such as smoke alarms, flood detectors and motion sensors link directly to the contact centre when they are activated.
Is Derby Care Link suitable for me?
Our services are available to anybody in Derby irrespective of whether you own your home or are a tenant of Derby City Council, a housing association or a private landlord.
You may feel vulnerable in your own home because of age, isolation, illness or disability or you may just want the peace of mind that help will be available in an emergency.
