Who can claim Benefit?

You can claim Housing Benefit if:

 

  • You have to pay rent and you are on a low income
  • You can claim if you are working (including self-employed) or if you are not working

You can claim Council Tax Benefit if:

  • You have to pay council tax and you are on a low income
  • You can claim if you are working (including self-employed) or if you are not working.
