Useful Genealogy Websites
Genuki external link contains a vast amount of genealogical information for the UK. It provides a comprehensive list of resources you can use. Familia external link provides advice on family history in public libraries. The 1901 census external link is available online. it can be searched for free, but a charge is payable for the full details. The Mormon's International Genealogical Index external link, compiled from parish registers, contains millions of entries.

Local History

 have significant collections related to local history. Derby Museum and Art Gallery has exhibits devoted to Derby porcelain, local archaeology and local regiments. The  tells the story of the industrial heritage and achievement of Derby and it's people. This includes Rolls-Royce external link and other local industries.
