We are delighted to share some news with you about our exhibition spaces at the Derby Museum and Art Gallery.

During the next six months we are embarking on a series of refurbishments at the museum. In order for the building works to take place the exhibition galleries will need to be closed for a period of time, necessitating the cancellation of this year’s Derby City Open.

The City Open is a valuable exhibition in our annual programme and we’d like to reassure you that it will be back on the calendar for October 2011. In the meantime, if you have any comments or questions about the City Open please don’t hesitate to contact us.

We are sorry for the inconvenience that this may cause but look forward to sharing the refurbished spaces with you.
