Derby Porcelain Montieth

Derby Porcelain Montieth

Pair of Derby porcelain montieths, about 1785.  Montieths contained chilled water and were used for cooling wine glasses.

Purchased with grants from the Resource/V&A Purchase Grant Fund, the NACF and the Friends of Derby Museums and Art Gallery.
