Follow A52 west towards Derby City Centre. At the Pentagon Traffic Island carry straight on, following signs for ‘Inner Ring Road, A52 Ashbourne’. Continue along St Alkmund's Way, then take the left hand lane, turning off at the slip road signed A6 Matlock. At the first traffic lights turn left into Queen St. At the next lights turn left into Full St and follow this road round to the right. You will pass the Industrial Museum, situated on your left. At the roundabout you will see the Assembly Rooms car park on your right. Go right round the roundabout to access the car park. |

Proceeding south along the A38, at the first major roundabout follow the signs A38 south. Take the next exit (A6), and at the roundabout turn left, following signs to the city centre. Continue along the A6, into King St, and follow this road (following signs to the Inner Ring Road North) until you turn left on to the inner ring road (St Alkmund’s Way). Take the next left turn off St Alkmund’s Way into Cathedral Rd. At the T-junction turn left again, and at the traffic lights cross straight over into Full St. Follow this road round to the right. You will pass the Industrial Museum, situated on your left. At the roundabout you will see the Assembly Rooms car park on your right. Go right round the roundabout to access the car park. |

Follow A6 south (Duffield Rd) towards Derby City Centre. | Bus / Foot from Derby Railway Station |
On exiting the station cross the road to catch the 41, 44 or 45 bus into the city from the bus stop by the old Railway Institute. This is a short journey and will drop you on Morledge opposite the bus station. On alighting from the bus, proceed right towards the Market Hall crossing Victoria St, by the roundabout. Keep going ensuring that the Market Hall is on your left and the Derby City Council House is on your right. You will now find yourself at a small roundabout. Continue straight on along Full St, with the Assembly Rooms car park on your left. The entrance to the museum’s drive can be found on your right hand side at the bend in Full St. |
| On Foot from Derby Bus Station: |
Most buses to Derby will drop you at Derby Bus Station. Cross to the far side of Morledge (opposite the Court House). Proceed right towards the Market Hall crossing Victoria St, by the roundabout. Keep going ensuring that the Market Hall is on your left and the Derby City Council House is on your right. You will now find yourself at a small roundabout. Continue straight on along Full St, with the Assembly Rooms car park on your left. The entrance to the museum’s drive can be found on your right hand side at the bend in Full St. |
