Once – Still Images of Moving Pictures by Wim Wenders
Wim Wenders ranks among the greatest artistic minds of contemporary film over the past thirty years. He brings the same command of the art of storytelling we find in his films to this exhibition, which is at once a travel diary, photo album, and series of short films or stories. 'Once' gives us a unique look at the universe Wenders has created out of the hidden pieces of everyday life.

This exhibition is made on the eroding sets and locations of Sergio Leone’s celebrated 1960’s ‘Spaghetti Westerns’, in the Almerian deserts of southern Spain. For several years artist Aaron Schuman has pursued work concerned with the propagation of American myths abroad, as well as notions of how the ‘American vision’ has been applied to landscapes and cultures throughout the world.

Personal Myths by Diarmait Grogan

By creating an imaginary narrative from freely associated black and white images, Irish artist Diarmait Grogan blurs the lines between reality and fiction, encouraging the viewer to participate in the creation of meaning. The disjointed narrative leaves the work open to interpretation, while at the same time brimming with meanings both personal and collective.

Blue - Photography and video installation by Maggy Milner

Relying on the spiritual qualities of light, emotive colour and iconic form, Maggy Milner invites the viewer to decode and unravel visual clues. The play between darkness and light creates disquiet. The work is visually arresting but disorientating, haunting and enigmatic.
