This 7mm/foot scale model is one of a number of vehicles provided for the Museum’s model railway at The Silk Mill and represents a passenger brake van typical of Midland Railway practice in the early 1900s.

The model was built and painted by local model maker Mike Steadman from a kit manufactured by Slater’s Plastikard of Matlock Bath.
