Three months membership available to buy from 4 January to 28 February 2010 at any Derby City Council sports centre.
New Year New You membership conditions:
- Offer can be taken out from 4 January until 28 February 2010.

Moorways Sports Centre and Swimming Pool is located on the southern side of Derby. It is easily found at the junction of Moor Lane and Osmaston Park Road in Allenton.

Swimming at Moorways Swimming Pool
Derby City Council run two Swimming Pools in their sports facilities, one at Queen's Leisure Centre and one at Moorways Swimming Pool. Both offer a range of activities suitable for beginners, casual swimmers, families, children, and more serious swimmers. Free Swimming
If you are aged 60 and over, and 16 and under you can swim at Moorways Swimming Pool and Queen's Leisure Centre in any casual swimming session free of charge, in association with Swim 4 Life.

Swim Admission Policy
At Moorways Swimming Pool we have an admission policy for parents bringing children swimming. The policy tells you how many children you can bring with you when you come swimming. The policy has been developed in line with the Institute of Recreation Management guidelines and is designed to keep you and your child or children safe when swimming.

Moorways Stadium and Outdoor Sports Facilities are part of Moorways Sports Complex which also includes a sports centre and swimming pool and is located on the southern side of the city, at the junction of Moor Lane and Osmaston Park Road in Allenton.

All of the Stadium facilities are available for booking by individuals, clubs, schools, colleges and organisations for casual use, block bookings and special events. If you would like information or advice to help you plan your one-off or special event, please contact us.
Concessionary prices are available for juniors under 16, full time students, over 60s, unemployed or disabled people.
Athletics Track and Field
An eight-lane floodlit international standard track and field facility with the provision for outside throwing areas and an additional practice sprint track. There is permanent seating for 650 people and additional space for several thousand spectators.
