Welcome
At Queen's you will find a friendly, family environment in which you can go for a relaxing swim, workout with a friend in the gym or aerobics studio, drop off the kids at the holiday Active Fun schemes, or have a natter in the cafe. Our dedicated staff are fully trained in their area of work, from lifeguards to fitness instructors, you can be assured that you are safe and receiving the very best instruction and advice.

Hadrian's Wall charity walk
Between 19 and 22 May a team from Queen's Leisure Centre led by Jackie Keeling walked the entire length of Hadrian's Wall, 84 miles, in just four days for charity. Find out how they got on by clicking here.

Our opening hours are:
- Monday to Friday: 7.30am to 10pm
- Saturday: 9am to 6pm
- Sunday: 9am to 10pm

Swim Admission Policy
At Queen's Leisure Centre we have an admission policy for parents bringing children swimming. The policy tells you how many children you can bring with you when you come swimming. The policy has been developed in line with the Institute of Recreation Management guidelines and is designed to keep you and your child or children safe when swimming.

Access For All
Queen's Leisure Centre has:
- a ramped entry into the centre
- a hearing induction loop fitted at reception
- a Minicom
- a lift to all floors
- disabled people’s toilets in reception and changing areas in the Gala and Teaching Pool
- shallow steps into the Family and Teaching Pool, with a handrail
- pool hoists for all three swimming pools
- Equality range of gym equipment by Pulse Fitness
