Are you interested in becoming an Activity Leader?

Why not volunteer to become an Activity Leader, manage your own sessions and help get your community more active?
Nusrat Praveen (37) from Normanton, is signing up for the programme and is volunteering to support with translation and mentoring.   Nusrat says 'I think this is a great opportunity for women in the Asian community to get more active, particularly for Muslim women who need to be in a female only environment.  I'm really looking forward to the women and girl's swim sessions and the introduction to keep fit course.  I would like to train to become an exercise instructor myself and hope that b-active might support this'.

For more information on the Make Your Move Your Way programme and becoming a leader please contact Taihra Hussain on 01322 641240 or 07787797278, or email: taihra.hussain@derby.gov.uk
