Parents can keep children physically active and entertained in a safe and friendly community-centred environment by attending one of the activity sessions specifically for the under-fives being run by Derby City Council at Shaftesbury Sports Centre, Normanton.

Sessions run every Saturday morning from 9am to 10am and involve a range of soft play activities and fun games that vary from week to week. Each session is priced at £2.50 a child. All children must be accompanied by a parent or carer who attends free of charge.
