Bloom Street - Gating Order

1. The Council of the City of Derby on 24 July 2008 made a Gating Order under Section 129 of the Highways Act 1980 (Gating Orders) Regulations 2006.

2. The Council of the City of Derby hereby confirms that the conditions set out in Section 129(A)(3) of the Act have been met.

3. The Public right of way know as Bloom Street will be restricted 24 hours a day with the exception of the hours between 7am until 9am every Tuesday for the purpose of refuse collection.

4. The Persons who are excluded from the effects of the restriction will be anyone who does not have an interest in accessing premises from Bloom Street to a shop on St Peter's Street.

5. Alternative routes are not available to Pedestrians who do not have an interest in gaining access to the rear of their premises on Bloom Street.

6. Vehicular access is not available due to the nature and width of the highway.

7. The contact details of the person responsible for maintaining and controlling the barrier installation of which is authorised by the Order will be Manor Pharmacy.
