Blue badge holders can park for free for an unlimited amount of time where on-street charging applies and in residents only parking zones. Please make sure the blue badge is clearly visible with the serial number on display. Blue badge holders can also park for free for up to three hours in all Council owned car parks and in these on-street parking spaces:
  • St. Mary's Gate: five spaces
  • Bold Lane: four spaces
  • St. James' Street: four spaces
  • The Strand: four spaces
  • Becket Well Lane: three spaces
  • Tenant Street: four spaces
  • St. Peter's Church Yard: six spaces
  • Green Lane: two spaces
  • Babington Lane: five spaces
  • The Spot: three spaces
  • London Road: 10 spaces
  • Cathedral Road: two spaces
  • Gower Street: four spaces
  • Full Street: two spaces

Blue badge holders can also park for up to three hours on yellow lines. The blue badge should be clearly visible with the serial number on display along with the clock set to the time of arrival. However, please ensure that when using this privilege, you park with consideration for all other road users.
