Derby City Council are responsible for enforcing parking restrictions on-street throughout the City as well as their off-street car parks. The City Council employs a dedicated team of Parking Attendants to patrol the car parks and streets to:

• Provide help and advice 
• Improve security with the help of CCTV
• Enforce the parking restrictions

When using pay and display facilities, please ensure that you buy a ticket immediately after parking your vehicle and that you return before the expiry time of your ticket.

The Police are responsible for enforcing all other moving traffic offences including obstruction of the highway.
