Bus Station Information

Proposed Riverlights and Bus Station Development

The company, Riverlights, are building a new bus station for Derby. It will include a safe, bright and pleasant waiting area with a leisure complex featuring cafes, pubs and a hotel, all connected to the bus station. The new bus station is scheduled to open in Autumn 2009. Derby City Council are working in partnership with the developer and the bus companies on this development.

Derby's Temporary Bus Station

Derby City Council is operating a temporary bus station on street while the new bus station is being constructed. The bus services all leave from stands located along Full Street, Derwent Street, Corporation Street, Morledge and Albert Street. For more information please download the Derby Network Map

Derby City Network Guide Audio Tape

Derby City Council provide an audio cassette tape that identifies all bus services within the city and where they go. It also states which stop to use within the temporary bus station.
