Park and Ride


There are two Park and Ride schemes in Derby, the Meteor Centre (D1) and Pride Park (111), both of which are operated by Notts & Derby. If you have any comments about the park and ride schemes please use the comments form at the bottom of this page.

Meteor Centre - D1

Meteor Retail ParkThe Meteor Centre (postcode DE21 4SY) is located at the North of the City, on the A61. It is easily accessible from the A38 North and from the Pentagon Island. Map showing location of the Meteor Centre and the major road routesThe D1 runs every 10 to 15 minutes Monday to Friday, from 7.30am until 6.00pm. The D1 also runs on a Saturday every 15 minutes from 8.30am until 6.00pm. For more information please contact Notts and Derby or download the timetable from our timetable section on this web site.

This service runs from the Meteor Centre to the city centre stopping at stand Y1 on Derwent Street. This stand can be seen on Derby City’s Network Map.

The service costs £2.00 to park your vehicle and you receive a return bus ticket. This ticket covers up to seven people in one vehicle to use the bus. Please be aware that any concessionary travel pass are accepted on the Meteor Centre park and ride service.

Please also note that customers parking to use the D1 service, at the Meteor Centre, must use the back two rows of car parking spaces as signed. Park and ride customers may be liable for a parking ticket if parked in any other parking space.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Pride Park - 111


Pride Park and Ride SitePride Park (postcode DE24 8AN) is located to the east of the city, near to the A52. It is easily accessible from the A52, the Pentagon Island, London Road and Station Approach in the city centre. There are spaces for over 1,100 cars.

Location map of Pride Park and Ride Site showing major road routesThe 111 service runs every 10 to 15 minutes from 7.00am until 7.00pm, Monday to Saturday. On a Saturday, when there is a football match, the 111 does not serve the park and ride site and finishes at 1.00pm. When there is a weekday game then the service finishes at 6.00pm. The 111 serves the city centre, Pride Park and the Wyvern Business Park. It uses stand J3 on Corporation Street. This stand can be seen on Derby City’s Network Map.

The Park & Ride service costs £2 to park your vehicle and travel. This Park & Ride ticket covers up to seven people in one vehicle to use the bus to travel from the Park & Ride car park to the City Centre only and includes the return journey. Other fares apply to destinations such as Wyvern Business Park. Please be aware that any concessionary travel passes are not accepted at the Park and Ride site as the fare is for the car load, not the individual.
