Phase One

· Carry out urban improvement works on northern side of London Road between Beckitt Close and Raynesway.
· Refurbish and upgrade the crossing on Raynesway, converting it to a Toucan to cater for cyclists
· Refurbish the northern side of the existing controlled crossing at Wye Street
· Make provision for the new crossing to be installed on London Road next to Raynesway
· Lay signal ducting to the whole centre for the control and management of the crossing facilities.
