News and Reminders

  • New Disability Access Fund information is now available. Please view the chidlcare funding page above to read the document on this. 
  • We can now share our Takeup Summer 2017  two year old data with you all. Thank you for all of your hard work on filling these places.  
  • The funding timetable is now available for 2017-2018 and will have been emailed out to you all, this is term time only. Visit the funding page above to download a copy. 
  • Please me aware that the funding rate for the extended entitlement remains the same as that of the universal offer at £4.05
  • Please keep a look out for the new provider agreement September 2017 that will be sent to all providers shortly. This will be implemented from September and is being updated to take into consideration requirement of Dfe's statutory guidance.
  • Parents can now register with HMRC for the Extended Childcare Entitlement please guide them to this webpage to register.

 

Provider Portal

Below is the link for you to access the provider portal where you can record children and parent information for funding purposes. The provider portal is also where you can complete quick update forms and staffing records. You must also inform Ofsted about any changes to your address, telephone number or email address. You can read the guidance we have put together on using the portal in the downloads section at the bottom of this page. 

I'm interested in becoming a childcare provider – how do I get advice?

Our Families Information Service gives advice to anyone who wants to start offering childcare in Derby. Whether you want to be a childminder or would like to set up a day nursery, pre-school playgroup or out of school club, the Families Information Service can help.

The Families Information Service runs briefing sessions where you can find out how to apply to become a registered childcare provider and what support and training is available.
