Public consultation on an Environmental Permit application
|Why are we consulting?||
Derby City Council has received an application from TC Harrison Ford for an Environmental Permit for a vehicle refinishing process at their premises on Stadium View, Pride Park, Derby in accordance with the Environmental Permitting (England and Wales) Regulations 2010 (as amended). The proposed process involves applying paint coating to vehicles in a proprietary spray booth.
The Council is required to consult the public on the application in accordance with the Pollution Prevention and Control Act 1999 and the Environmental Permitting (England and Wales) Regulations 2010 (as amended).
If the application for a Permit is approved, the process will be subject to a number of detailed conditions as set out in the statutory guidance and which are designed to control emissions to the atmosphere from the site.
The process being applied for is already carried out at a number of sites across the City.
