Overview: Derby has the chance to bid for £5 million pounds from the Local Sustainable Transport Fund (LSTF) to help generate economic growth and reduce our carbon footprint. For our bid to succeed it is vital that it reflects the economic needs of the city and it must be shaped in partnership with the business community.
Reason for consultation: Derby City Council is holding a workshop on the afternoon of Tuesday 29 November 2011 to talk to business representatives about how easily and reliably their employees, customers, visitors, goods and supplies are able to get to and from their business.

Who is being consulted? The event is open to all businesses based in the city centre and in the southeast of Derby. Council Officers, along with transport professionals from the private and voluntary sector, will be on hand to work with businesses to identify problems with travel and transport and to discuss possible solutions.
How? A workshop for businesses being held on 29 November 2011.
Who can take part? Open to eligible volunteers only
