Consultation Details

Title: Proposed amendment to central reserve layout to Manor Road – A5111
Start date: 28/11/2011
Closing date: 19/12/2011
Status: Closed
Overview: Following previous investigatory work and consultation, Abbey and Littleover Neighbourhood Boards have committed to delivering a casualty reduction scheme at the A5111 Manor Road junction with St Albans Road and Constable Lane.  The proposed scheme will involve amending the layout of the existing central reserve in order to minimise the number of conflicting vehicle movements.
Reason for consultation: In order for the physical changes to be made to the existing central reserve it is necessary to make accompanying traffic regulation orders to legally prohibit the movements.  We are required to carry out statutory consultation as part of this process.
