What is Urban Design?

Urban Design is about bringing together all elements of development disciplines such as architecture, planning, transport, landscape from the outset to ensure the best approach for the highest quality result.

It is the process of 'place-making' and includes:

  • ease of movement
  • ease of understanding
  • adaptability
  • variety and choice.
