Online planning register

We have two services available to search for planning applications within Derby – the eplanning service and the interactive map. The online Planning register or e-planning service is designed to give easier access to details of planning applications submitted to Derby City Council. The information is updated daily.

You can:

  • search the online Planning Register for applications registered since January 1994
  • view copies of plans and documents for applications registered since 1 December 2005. Documents are uploaded to the service within 5 working days of receipt
  • monitor the progress of current applications from registration date through to decision date
  • submit your comments about a current application
  • view the conditions and reasons for decisions made since January 1994
  • search for planning appeals and the decision reached by The Planning Inspectorate
