We hold monthly information sessions at the Council House from 6.30pm to 8.30pm on Tuesday evenings.

The session begins with a presentation with information about adoption with Derby City Council and is a helpful introduction to the adoption process. There is also an opportunity to speak individually to a social worker and one of our adoptive parents. It is not essential to book but if you have questions beforehand please feel free to contact one of our duty social workers on our duty line between 9.00am and 5.00pm on 01332 640880.
We strongly recommend prospective adopters attend this information evening, however if you are not able to attend this session, one of our social workers would be happy to meet with you at the Council House on any weekday between 10.00am and 4.00pm. Please call to arrange this with the duty social worker as booking is essential.
