Day services for older people

The Morleston Street Day Centre provides a safe environment where you can meet and join in therapeutic and social activities as well as ensuring that all your care needs are being met.

There are also lots of different support providers who can help you with a range of different activities, see our Choices and types of support available locally page for details of other support providers.

Who can attend?

You can attend if you live in Derby and are over 65 and either:

  • fund your own care, or
  • receive funding from the Council to pay for your care, or
  • have a carer who needs a break

How much will it cost?

What if I need support?

All our staff are trained to support people with dementia or people who need assistance with mobility and meeting personal care needs. We have specialist bathing facilities should you choose to have a bath here, with specialist equipment, large toilet facilities for wheel chair users and a call bell.
