Gypsy and travellers' sites

We are committed to assessing the accommodation needs of all people living in our area and this includes vulnerable groups such as Gypsies and Travellers.

There is currently a 17 pitch ‘permanent’ site for Gypsies and Travellers, called Imari Park, which is located on Russell Street. The site is managed by Derby Homes Ltd. We continue to assess levels of unmet need through regular monitoring of unauthorised encampments and requests for licences which cannot be met by current provision.

For further information about the management and occupation of this site please contact Derby Homes Enquiry Centre on 01332 88 8777.

For more information on policy and site development please contact the Strategic Housing Team, details below.
