What leisure and sports passes do you offer?

You can buy an annual Passport to Leisure or Recreation Passport to Leisure card, which gives you discounts on activities in our sports centres.

We also offer bfit memberships for our sports centres which you can pay monthly by direct debit.

Passport to Leisure

The Passport to Leisure is an annual discount card which is available to anyone. It saves you money on a range of activities in our sports centres. Here are the different Passport to Leisure cards: 

  • Adult Passport to Leisure - for 16 year olds and over. It costs £12.65 a year.
  • Junior Passport to Leisure - for under 16 year olds. It costs £6.45 a year.
  • Concessionary Passport to Leisure - for over 60 year olds, unemployed, registered disabled people and full time students. It costs £6.45 a year.
  • Family Concessionary Passport to Leisure card is available for up to two adults, a maximum of five people. All children must be under 16 years old. It costs £25.35 a year.
  • Recreation Passort to Leisure – for Derby residents who are claiming certain benefits. Download our Passport to Leisure leaflets or contact us for full terms and conditions.  It costs £6.45 a year.

Benefits

With an Adult, Junior, Concessionary and Family Passport to Leisure:

  • You get reduced ‘Passport’ or ‘Concessionary Passport’ charges for certain activities in our sports centres. You can download our Activity Guide – January to March 2012 for more information. 
  • You can book certain activities and sessions in advance in our sports centres. You don’t have to pay until you play.
  • You don’t have to pay deposits for equipment hire in our sports centres. 

With a Recreation Passport to Leisure:

  • You can swim and get our court and bowls sessions for free in our sports centres from 9am to 4pm, Monday to Friday, and all day at weekends and Bank Holidays. 
  • You don’t have to pay deposits for equipment hire in our sports centres during off peak times. 
  • You can book certain activities and sessions up to seven days in advance during peak times. 
  • You can pay Concessionary Passport to Leisure prices when your activity isn’t free.

How do I get a Passport to Leisure or Recreation Passport to Leisure card?

You can pick up a Passport to Leisure application form and term and conditions from our sports centres or contact us and we will send one out to you. After you have filled it in, please take it to one of our sports centres.

bfit memberships

We offer gym, workout and swim memberships called 'bfit memberships':

  • ‘Just’ membership – choose one of the following membership options: Gym, Workout or Swim
  • Mix & match – choose two of the following membership options: Gym, Workout or Swim
  • Full membership – includes all three options: Gym, Workout and Swim.

You can use your bfit membership at any time.

What’s included in each bfit membership option?

  • Gym: All gym usage at any time, and your Induction session.
  • Workout: All our Spin classes, and most of our group exercise classes except YogaBugs, Buggybabes and Movement classes.
  • Swim: All public swimming sessions. This does not include swimming lessons, or any group exercise classes which take place in the swimming pool. 

How much is bfit membership?

Our bfit memberships are payable by direct debit. You are not tied into a contract – you can cancel your direct debit at any time. Please contact us for more information on how to cancel.

How do I get a bfit membership?

You can download a bfit membership application form or you can pick one up from one of our sports centres, or contact us and we will send one to you.

After you have filled it in, please take it to one of our sports centres with your money or card details and we will book an Activation session for you if you want to join our bfit gym.

Movement memberships – coming soon

For young people aged 11 to 16 years. Offers gym, Movement group exercise classes and swimming - paid per session. For more information, pick up a leaflet from our sports centres or contact us.
