We are working to help make Derby the most active city in England by 2015 by:

  • providing opportunities for people of all ages to take part in sport and physical activities.
  • providing support to individuals and clubs to help them become active and stay active.

What support do you provide for athletes and clubs?

We can help you and your club in a number of ways, including giving you support and advice on:

  • club management
  • coaching opportunities
  • accessing funding
  • equity – being fair and inclusive to all people
  • volunteering
  • gaining links with schools and the community
  • marketing.

If you have any questions or want any advice or support, please contact us.

How can I have my say in developing sport across Derby?

You can join the Derby Sports Forum which meets six times each year to work on many of the common issues which face sport in Derby, promote sport and increase opportunities.

The Derby Sport Forum is a group of clubs, volunteers and professionals who have an active interest in developing sport in Derby. It is open to anyone who has a passion for sport and wants to improve the infrastructure of your club and sport in general in Derby.

Please contact us for more information.
