WildDerby is about positive action for wildlife in Derby, for the benefit of local people. The partners in this work include Derby City Council, Derbyshire Wildlife Trust,
BTCV, RSPB,
Groundwork Derby & Derbyshire,
Natural England
and many local groups. We work together because wildlife in the city matters.
Since June 2007, WildDerby has been celebrating Derby's status as a BBC Breathing Places City.
You can view the events that have been organised as part of our year of action
on the BBC Breathing Places web site and see how you can 'do one thing' for wildlife in Derby. Once on the BBC Breathing Places web site, just click on the symbols on the map for details of what is happening in the Derby area.
Our events can also be viewed on the Let's go wild in Derby 2008 web page.
For an overview of past events, visit our Year of Action events which have taken place web page.
In addition to events organised as part of our Year of Action, WildDerby has information on a variety of topics, such as monthly gardening tips, 'Friends of' groups and 'Floyds Guides' to wildlife.
