The government has alternative support schemes in place in areas such as the self-employed income support scheme. You can find more details about the alternative schemes on the GOV.UK website.

The grant will be paid as soon as possible after we receive your application. Please be aware that this is likely to be several weeks after your submission due to the high volume of applications.

Grant income received by a business is taxable. Therefore, funding paid under this scheme will be subject to tax. Only businesses which make an overall profit once grant income is included will be subject to tax.

There is no right to appeal and the council's decision is final. We will provide details of why your application was rejected within our decision letter.
