Derby City Council’s libraries at Mickleover, Normanton and Alvaston, as well as the Local Studies Library and Riverside are now closed.
The city’s Community Managed Libraries at Allestree, Allenton, Blagreaves, Chellaston, Derwent, Mackworth, Chaddesden Park, Sinfin, Spondon and Springwood, which are not run by Derby City Council, have already temporarily closed to the public.

Derby Arena, Queen's Leisure Centre, Springwood Leisure Centre and Moorways Stadium will be closed from and including Thursday 19th March for at least 30 days.
Allestree Park golf course and the Steve Bloomer ATP pitch at the Racecourse will also be closed from this time.

In line with Government guidance, our indoor and outdoor events programme across the city will not be going ahead for at least the next 12 weeks.

The sales and information centre at Riverside Chambers, Full Street, Derby is now closed.

Our parks and key heritage sites remain open to the public, although toilets will be closed. Heritage sites and museums are now closed.
All play areas, outdoor gyms, youth shelters, wheeled sports areas, multi use games areas, tennis courts, cricket wickets and football courts on parks are closed.
Mundy Play Centre at Markeaton Park has also been closed.
Derbyshire Police have advised us to close the car parks at Allestree Park, Alvaston Park, King George V Playing Fields and Pit Close Recreation Ground. At this point in time, other car parks on Derby City Parks remain open but this will be continuously reviewed. Other closures may follow so please keep up to date by following us on social media.
All still water lakes are closed to anglers - this includes the lakes at Allestree Park, Alvaston Park, Markeaton Park, Heatherton Pond and Mill Dam. For further details, visit www.theearlofharringtonsac.co.uk/
