Our Communications Division monitors our social media accounts Monday to Friday during office hours. We will also work to send messages out out of office hours in case of emergency, during big events, or in times such as when it's snowing.
We are unable to respond to every message we receive, but will read each one and send them to relevant departments where necessary.

In the run up to any elections - local or national - we, the Council, must stay politically neutral. That means we cannot do or say anything which could be considered as supporting a party. Therefore, please do not post any party political messages or promotions on our profiles. We will remove such messages.
Please take care not to make libellous statements. In law this means a statement that lowers the reputation of a person or organisation in the eyes of a reasonable person. By publishing such a statement we can both get into serious trouble. We will therefore take down any statement that could be deemed to be libellous.
