Proposal to merge Brackensdale Infant School and Brackensdale Junior School
|Why are we consulting?||
Derby City Council is consulting on a proposal to merge Brackensdale Infant and Brackensdale Junior School to form a primary school. Details of the proposal are set out in the Consultation Document, which can be accessed using the link below.
Following the initial consultation period, Council Cabinet will consider the results of the consultation and decide whether to progress to the next stage of the process.
If the proposal is to be taken forward, there will then be a further four week formal consultation period. It is anticipated that the final decision on the proposal will be taken in October 2017. If the proposal does proceed then the primary school will open in January 2018.
