Draft Private Sector Housing Renewal Policy 2020-2030
We welcome your views on our draft Private Sector Housing Renewal Policy, 2020-2030.
This policy focuses attention on our very important private sector housing stock - that provides around 80% of all housing in Derby. It sets out the grants, loans, and other initiatives we will undertake to improve housing conditions in this sector. It also explains how our actions will help to reduce health hazards within homes and so support the well-being of some of our most vulnerable residents.
More information is available on our Draft Private Sector Housing Renewal Policy 2020-2030 page.
Derby City Council Election Cycle
Derby City Council currently holds Local Elections three times in every four years, with a third of seats contested at each election. There is one year where no Local Elections take place. This is known as the 'fallow year'. We are considering adopting a 'Whole Council Elections' model, whereby one election would be held every four years starting from 2022.
- Start Date: 27/01/2020
- Close Date: 23/03/2020
The Derby City Council Election Cycle consultation is now closed and will be debated at the Extraordinary Meeting on Wednesday 23 September 2020.
