Beat the Street
Beat the Street is a free, interactive challenge that encourages people of all ages to incorporate physical activity into their daily lives by turning the city into a six-week game.
The game is completely contactless and players take part in their family groups or support bubbles. Players are encouraged to explore their local area by walking, cycling, running, wheeling or scooting within the game area and there are prizes for the teams who score the most points.
Kat Williams workouts
Local fitness guru, Kat Williams will be providing four 25 minutes active sessions for children and families of all ages and fitness abilities. These sessions will not need equipment to make it easy for all families to participate.
These sessions are designed to increase the children's heart rate, educate them at the same time on the importance of exercise, healthy eating and how this in turn affects the body and mind positively.

DerbyLIVE Easter activities
In Derby have announced their programme with events are taking place online and out and about during the Easter break, including the Love Exploring interactive AR app which offers trails around Markeaton and Alvaston parks.

The Derbyshire Music Hub offers ideas and resources for continuing music learning from home – for all ages and stages of education.
Derby Children’s Centres
Derby Children's Centres will be offering a range of virtual and activities from ages 0 to 11 including treasure hunts, obstacle course and den making. We will publish details of how to access the events.
Farming STEMterprise
Suitable for primary age children, Farming STEMterprise takes children through each stage of setting up a farm shop business, including:
- considering seasonality when deciding which crop to grow
- growing their own ingredients
- considering nutrition when designing their recipes
- using market research to test their ideas out with potential consumers
- working within a budget when buying additional ingredients
- learning knife skills when making their products
- calculating expected profit
- designing responsible packaging
