Yes, I would recommend any company to consider apprentices as a recruitment strategy. A lot of companies get hung up on the idea that apprenticeships are for youngsters who go into the low end of engineering. This is not the case, as you can have apprentices at more mature ages, going into a range of roles and at different levels of education.
