We’re asking Rams fans to tell us their ultimate Derby County football team, made up of players, past and present.
The final starting 11 and one coach will be featured on the brand new footbridge that links Chaddesden to Pride Park, and will be used by thousands of fans.
The bridge will feature an arts project made up of images that will reference the ‘We are Derby’ poem written by local poet Jamie Thrasivoulou. The poem represents the social DNA of both the city and its people, and describes what’s important about the city, its people, heritage and legacy. The poem refers to some Derby County managers and players, including Clough, Taylor, Wanchope and Bloomer.
Once the selection has been made the 12 visual images will be created and installed on the two access walkways of the bridge, and will be further enhanced by additional images, representing other elements of the ‘We are Derby’ poem such as the city’s industrial, social and cultural heritage.
Use the online form to submit your ultimate DCFC legend team, and see if they make the final 12. The nomination window will be open until Friday 17th July.
