Derby City Council (Gower Street) (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting) (Amendment to Map Based Schedule) (No.123) Order 2022

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Derby City Council proposes to make the above order under Sections 1, 2, 4, 9, 32, 35, 45, 46, 47, 49, 53 and part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and under the Traffic Management Act 2004 and all other enabling powers in that behalf.

The purpose of the order will be to introduce:

No Waiting (At Any Time) to replace Disabled Badge Holders Only (3 Hours No Return 1 Hour)

  • On Gower Street, adjacent to 85 Green Lane
  • Approximately 1.5 metres outside 12 Gower Street

Disabled Badge Holders Only (3 Hours No Return 1 Hour) to replace Pay and Display (Max 2 Hours Monday to Saturday from 8am to 8pm and Sunday from 10am to 4pm) (Permit Holder Exemption)

  • Outside 8 Gower Street

Disabled Badge Holders Only (3 Hours No Return 1 Hour) to replace No Waiting (At Any Time)

  • In the lay by outside Prosperity House, Gower Street

Pay and Display (Max 2 Hours Monday to Saturday from 8am to 8pm and Sunday from 10am to 4pm) (Permit Holder Exemption) to replace No Waiting (At Any Time)

  • Approximately 1.4 metres outside 11 Gower Street

Pay and Display (Max 2 Hours Mon-Sat 8am-8pm Sun 10am-4pm) (Permit Holder Exemption) to replace Disabled Badge Holders Only (3 Hours No Return 1 Hour)

  • Outside 12 Gower Street

No Stopping (At Any Time) (Except Local Buses) (Clearway extent only) to replace Pay and Display (Maximum 2 Hours Monday to Saturday from 8am to 8pm and Sunday from 10am to 4pm) (Permit Holder Exemption)

  • Approximately 1.8 metres outside 12 Gower Street

No Waiting (At Any Time) to replace No Stopping (At Any Time) (Except Local Buses) (Clearway extent only)

  • Approximately 1.2 metres outside 12 Gower Street

No Waiting (At Any Time) No Loading (At Any Time) to replace No Waiting (At Any Time)

  • Outside Babington Court to its junction with Babington Lane

A copy of the proposed order together with maps which show the definitive extents of the proposal, a copy of the Authority’s Statement of Reasons for proposing the order and the order being amended, may be inspected on this page.

Objections to the proposal stating your grounds of objection should be sent, in writing, to Traffic & Transportation, Communities and Place, Derby City Council, Council House, Corporation Street, Derby, DE1 2FS or by email to traffic.management@derby.gov.uk to be received no later than 22nd December 2022.
