2024 East Midlands Mayor & Derbyshire Police and Crime Commissioner Election Results

Votes for two elections were counted on Friday 3 May 2024.

The count for the first ever East Midlands Combined County Authority Mayoral Election took place at Derby Arena on Friday 3 May alongside the Derbyshire Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC) election count.

The turnout in Derby for the East Midlands Combined County Authority Mayor was 25.5% and 25.4% for the Derbyshire Police and Crime Commissioner.

Claire Ward (Labour and Cooperative Party) was elected as the first East Midlands Combined County Authority Mayor with 181,040 total votes. Full Mayoral election results can be found on the East Midlands Devolution website.

Nicolle Sibusiso Ndiweni (Labour and Cooperative Party) was elected as Derbyshire Police and Crime Commissioner with 93,260 total votes. Full PCC election results can be found on the Council website.
