You may be aware of the current developments taking place at Derby Market Hall.

This multi-million pound transformation hopes to create a fantastic market place with the aim of being the very best in the UK.

The Market Hall has launched a special letting initiative to find and nurture the right traders that would complement the future market.

An immediate action plan has been agreed together with associated investment to attract the right traders into the market.  This includes the creation of a new food and drink zone with provision for communal seating surrounded by a wide variety of food and drink stalls.

Stalls are already available to let on attractive terms to any business seeking to locate their business in the market and the Council is prepared to negotiate with flexibility to attract any business that it thinks will be a strong anchor in the existing and new market.

The new initiative is also being backed by a programme of major promotional activities starting on Sat 7 December with a special Christmas market, then at regular intervals from February 2020 designed to attract footfall into the Market Hall.  Each major promotion is expected to create a lot of customer attention and footfall in the Market.

If you think you have got what it takes to run a business that would benefit Derby Market Hall, the Council would be interested in talking to you as soon as possible.  Please note, it is our intention to deliver this new initiative quickly and as such this is a time limited opportunity to take advantage of our incredible deals.
