Direct Debit
Save yourself some money and time - pay by Direct Debit!
Direct Debit is an easy and controllable way to pay your bills. You can sign up online for some of our services by using one of the following links:
To pay for other invoices by Direct Debit, you can use our Direct Debit form. Please note, this form is not to be used for Council Tax or business rates. When you have completed the form, return it to the address shown on the form.
The Direct Debit form is intended for print use and has not been made accessible. If you require these documents in an accessible format, please contact Debtors.Finance@derby.gov.uk.
We value your privacy and security so all interactions with Derby City Council use 128-bit encryption to protect your personal details when they are transmitted over the Internet. In addition some services require you to obtain a PIN number from the Council before you use them for the first time, for instance to access your Council Tax account online.
All the normal Direct Debit safeguards and guarantees apply when you set up an instruction online. No changes in the amount, date or frequency of a payment can be made without notifying you at least 10 working days in advance of your account being debited. In the event of any error, you are entitled to an immediate refund from your Bank or Building Society. You have the right to cancel a Direct Debit Instruction at any time simply by writing to your Bank or Building Society, and sending a copy of the letter to us.
