Crematorium charges
Overview
The charges listed are for Markeaton Crematorium only, and do not include Funeral Directors and other third party fees or charges.
Cremation appointments
The fees indicated for the cremation include:
- the preparation of all documentation
- the cremation process
- use of the chapel
- all attendances in the chapel
- use of the waiting room
- the Wesley Media Music System
- scattering of cremated remains
- provision of a standard ashes box
- a Certificate of Cremation.
All the charges also include:
- the Medical Referee's fee of £20
- the Environmental Surcharge (per cremation) of £56.00 (except for the body of a person whose age at the time of death was not over 18 years).
